The feel of what you wear

When German researchers Betinna Hannover and Ulrich Kuhnen asked people to describe their character traits when they wore formal or casual clothing, they were more likely to describe themselves as neat and strategic when in smart attire, and as easy-going or clumsy when dressed casually.

What you wear can affect your mental agility – yes amazingly it can! In a study published in 2012, two researchers from North Western University in the US took three groups of psychology students and gave them the same test. The first group were asked to wear their own clothes, the second group were asked to wear a bright blue T-shirt and their own clothes and the third group were asked to wear a Superman T-shirt.
