Case Studies

Winter Season – Summer Influence
Heidi is a busy Mum running her own business.
After a colour analysis and a wardrobe audit, Heidi realised that apart from a couple of outfits which were not in her colour palette, she actually had chosen her clothing colours well. She just needed confidence in her choices and ideas on how she could combine the colours to her best advantage.
Heidi is what’s known as a ‘Winter Season’ – she can wear really bold strong colours which suit her personality and her style. Her ‘Summer influence colours soften her look but still stay within the best colours for her and look vibrant.
Winter colouring is all about striking contrast which is reflected in the Winter colour palette. She has light skin contrasted with naturally dark hair, white teeth and blue-grey eyes with clear whites for contrast. Her colours are true, blue, and vivid; sharp, clear, and icy.

Spring Season
Marcin is a graphic designer running his own busy website design agency. It is important that Marcin is seen as professional but also creative. Marcin wanted to update his more corporate look to show his sense of fun and creativity.
After a colour analysis, Marcin and Elaine went on a shopping trip to explore new colours to incorporate into his wardrobe and to explore his style.
Marcin’s colour palette is Spring which means he can wear a splash of colour. His colours are clear and bright.
We chose a lightweight, mid-blue suit that Marcin could either wear as a suit for formal client meetings or combine the jacket with jeans for a more informal style.

There are lots of fantastic shirts on the market that Marcin can use to show his creativity – or he can go plain for a more formal business event.

Heidi
The colour analysis process seemed simple and made complete sense to me. I could instantly see which colours were best for me. Once we went shopping I realised how I could adapt my clothes to fit with the client I am meeting. It has put creative fun into how I dress and I can add a little creativity to a more formal meeting without losing my professional look.
