Some people just look great! How do they do that?

Style is not about being ‘fashionable’ or ‘on trend’ all the time. It’s about wearing what suits you. It’s about wearing clothes that play to your strengths and fit with your personality. Being in style means being in your style.

It’s about developing your personal style which presents you authentically and at your best.

Why have a style consultation?

Whether you like it or not – the fact is that people make a judgement about you in the first seven seconds they meet you. So if you are a leader in your business, making a presentation, greeting clients, attending a networking meeting or embarking on a new career via interviews and workshops, you will want to present yourself in a way which is in line with your business values and beliefs – your ‘Brand’.

Outside of business or work, you may just want to look good and feel comfortable in your clothes when at home or visiting family, going to a party or on a social night out.

If you are working in a creative environment then it may be o.k. to wear cowboy boots with your suit or a vintage dress. If you are on a construction site, then it might require a suit or jeans.

Being in style is about being appropriate and congruent with your personality and your environment. Knowing your style and how to dress in line with your style will have a positive impact on you and those who meet you.

The consultation

“I like your jacket.” It sounds like a compliment but it actually means that the jacket is being noticed rather than you. When someone says “You look great” they are seeing you, the whole of you. You’ve got it right.

You will get the most benefit out of a Style Consultation if you are already dressing in the right colours which enhance your skin tone, eye and hair colour but it’s not essential. You can book a colour consultation to find out. A style consultation will show you which of your clothes enhance you.

In the consultation, we will look at your appearance using body shape/type analysis, wardrobe development and management. You will be able to see which clothes you have fit your style and which to ditch.
